About Leigh Travis, Ph.D.

Approximately 30 years ago, Leigh ("Lee") Travis, began in-depth personal research to discover how to obtain custody of his son, and discovered there was little guidance to be found for fathers in the area of child custody litigation.

After a long, and finally successful, series of court battles starting in local circuit courts and culminating in a $3,000,000 Federal Lawsuit, custody was finally won in August, 1982.

Because of this victory, individuals with similar problems began to consult with Dr. Travis for advice and guidance. He realized that there was a demand that was going unmet, and Dr. Travis started a part-time consulting business and began to assemble a sophisticated resource bank and techniques for coordinating services in child custody cases throughout the United States.

In 1984 Dr. Travis created and incorporated Child Custody Strategies, Inc., a for-profit corporation devoted to assisting parents and their professional advisers in designing strategies for the resolution of child custody disputes. A team-work approach is used requiring the client’s active participating in the implementing of the strategy.

Over 30 years of experience is built into these strategies and, while there are no guarantees, your chances of prevailing may be significantly enhanced using the methods and resources of the corporation.

To arrange for a personal appointment with Dr. Travis, call 1 (734) 994-7883 (Ann Arbor, MI) or e-mail him at leigh@leightravis.com. Fees are contractual and vary from client to client depending on the severity and complexity of the issues involved, the location, and other factors. Your case is different from all other cases, just as you and your children are individuals unlike any other individuals in the world; there are no two cases that are "the same."
